Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is an ancient healing art thousands of years old. Throughout time, many different forms of massage have been used to naturally treat different ailments and conditions. The healing touch of therapeutic massage is still used today to treat many different health problems. Massage therapy is immensely beneficial, due to the fact that the manipulation of soft tissues affects so many of our bodily systems. The muscular, skeletal, nervous, circulatory and lymphatic /immune systems are directly affected by massage therapy. Every cell and organ in your body can benefit from massage as it helps to relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness and it promotes healthy cellular function. Therapeutic massage stimulates healing on many levels. It reduces stress, promotes relaxation, it increases circulation, detoxification, range of motion, flexibility, and provides your body with an overall sense of well-being. Massage therapy is a wonderful gift to give yourself. It supports you to connect with your inner self and nurture and care for your body.

Visceral Manipulation (organ massage) is the gentle manipulation and mobilization of your body’s organs. For optimum health your organs should move freely in a variety of different directions. Due to life, trauma, injury, stress or surgery, the organs of the body can experience abnormal tensions, adhesions, restrictions, or displacement, which can create disharmony or dysfunction in the body. Visceral manipulation techniques are specifically designed to free and mobilize your organs, encouraging them to move in their normal healthy ranges of motion. When the organs and body parts are moving in synchronistic motion, we no longer have to suffer in dysfunction and we have the opportunity to experience health and wellness.
